Itinera marks World Day for Safety and Health at Work
28 April 2026On the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work on April 28, promoted by the International Labour Organization, Itinera organized an event dedicated to its employees, with the aim of strengthening a culture of prevention and promoting increasingly aware and responsible behaviors—key elements for the Company.
The event opened with remarks by Gianni Luciani, Chairman of Itinera, who emphasized that “safety is a fundamental value and a shared responsibility.”
This was followed by contributions from representatives of ANMIL – Alessandria branch — Francesco Margaria, Vice President, and Giuseppe Bovino, Board Member — who shared direct experiences, highlighting the role of the association and drawing attention to the importance of both individual and collective responsibility, both in the workplace and during commuting.
The meeting concluded with Marco Ercole, Itinera’s Director of Sustainability, Risk Management and QHSE, who presented the Group’s approach to health and safety, outlining the path “from results to action, to build an increasingly strong and widespread safety culture.”
On this occasion, Itinera presented its 12 Golden Rules for Safety, representing the first step in a broader journey aimed at strengthening a culture of prevention. These rules, conceived as guiding principles to shape everyday behaviors and contribute concretely to risk reduction, will be further developed in a dedicated booklet to be progressively distributed across all Group offices and construction sites, supporting a shared commitment to the protection of people.
