Description
The project, commissioned by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and awarded to the Consorzio Eteria – of which Itinera is a member – involves the widening of the A4 motorway (Venice–Trieste) through the construction of a third lane along the section between Portogruaro and San Donà di Piave, as well as the development of the new San Stino di Livenza interchange and toll station. The intervention represents a strategic project for the completion of the entire three-lane corridor between Quarto d’Altino and Palmanova, along one of the most important traffic routes at European level.The project will help improve traffic flow and safety, strengthening connections between Northern Italy and Central-Eastern Europe along the Pan-European Corridor V.
