Description
The project, awarded to Eteria Consortium of which Itinera is a member, involves the construction of the first section of the Monte Romano Est – Tarquinia stretch of the SS 675 “Umbro Laziale”, a strategic infrastructure for completing the connection between the Port of Civitavecchia and the intermodal hub of Orte. Extending over approximately 5 km, the works include complex structures such as natural and artificial tunnels, viaducts, and new interchanges, contributing to improved traffic flow and safety. As part of a broader programme to upgrade the road network, the project plays a key role in enhancing intermodal mobility in Central Italy, strengthening connections between the port system, the road network, and logistics infrastructure, with significant benefits for both freight and passenger traffic.
